Yesterday Lisa popped by to visit me as she was coming back from Kent, and slept over at my abode.
I took her to “The Alex” pub which is a nice indie/student pub and we had a good evening helped by a few glasses of wine.
It is interesting in hearing Lisa’s situation as it reminds me of where I was 4 years ago.
Getting back to my flat (via a stop by for a bottle of wine) we spoke to Caroline via yahoo conference call, well when we could get it working.
And I am looking forward to going to Leister in July to visit Lisa and her wife.
Earlier in the day I had a new tattoo on my left wrist and my Monroe piercing, and Saturday is my Bettie Page tattoo.
Allison Lawson who is doing my tattoo is coming back in October and I am looking to get a tattoo of Louise Brooks on my right arm.
I also spoke to Jo FROM Silver needles who are going to do my ISIS tattoo in July she is researching some other images for the face.
Work meetings and Occupational Health
Yes it is getting to crunch time, and I want to explore the options of not returning to work and getting on with a life away from the rat race.
It has been a busy day for phone calls, to get my Hickman line removed, a appointment to the Royal London Hospital and getting a letter sent to the Gender clinic with a late 2010 or early 2011 date in mind for my operation, it really has got to the situation where the horrible thing down below has to go!

It took me all day to recover from my wine exploits; Lisa really must stop making me drink it.
More London Trips
I am of to Surrey via London for my tattoo appointment in Red hill, then Sunday I am of to the London Fetish fair, Tuesday to the underground Bisexual group meeting so I am working on building that social life.

Now anyone reading this blog musr be told the truth.
Lucy tied my hands together and forced 3 very large glasses of wine down me.
This was followed by frogmarching me into the off licence on the way back (11.30PM!) and buying another bottle for consumption when we got back.
I have no idea how we managed to get the chat and web cam set up after all that alcohol.

If you are thinking about leaving work behind, take it from someone who has been retired for over two years now. It sure beats the rat race! It's so nice to own your own time.

Meaning: Also known as the Eye of Horus or the udjat, this eye is a symbol of the god Horus as both the son of Osiris and Isis and as the sun-god. Egyptian myths state that Horus lost his left eye in his war with Seth to avenge the death of his father. Seth tore the eye into pieces. The left eye, being the moon was discovered by Thoth (the god of wisdom and magic) lying in pieces, but he was able to reassemble them into the full moon. Each piece of the udjat (shown below) can be seen as representing a fraction of the descending geometric series 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc., put together they make 63/64 or approximately 1. Having been reassembled, Thoth gave the Eye to Horus. Horus, in turn, gave the eye to his murdered father Osiris, thereby bringing him back to life.
