I talk about the pre- starting work meeting first; it was a short and easy 30 minute affair.
First was to confirm that Monday was still ok for me to start my phased return, which we all agreed, Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10-12.
This will be for the first 2 weeks, with an occupational review, then looking at increasing my hours over an 8 week period.
A nice little job was suggested to me, working with a woman I have worked with before, and it is working on the council website and making more of the services accessible via the internet for the Southend public.
Although this job does not “float my boat” as such, I do feel that it shows the council are trying to accomadate my needs on returning to work and it feels comfortable to me.
Bit overall I don’t want to be “sucked” back into a 9-5 job.
The idea is for me to be fit for full time work in two months time and to enter the “talent pool” I have explained this in previous blogs it is also known as “the sludge pool” by some people and that made me laugh.
I would guess I have five full pay months before crunch time, find a post or go, and I am aiming to save £3,500 -£4,000 during this time.
A date I guess
When I was running one of my training workshops, in attendance there was a woman, with some tattoos and facial piercings’ who talked to me during one of the session breaks.
Although I thought there may have been a 2 way attraction, I never assume so just because someone is being nice to me; it could just be a friendly person being just that to you!
At the end of each session I had put up my facebook details and I did hope she would add me to her friends list, which later on that evening she did.
We did go out for a drink and chatted and it felt nice.
But I am not getting carried away and she is not ripping up any trees to find time to see me again, despite what im told, I will be open minded.
It is nice to feel that I can be attractive to someone.
Tomorrow is first day back at work.
Little bit of magic in the middle of a busy town.
This is a lovely park I like to put into my cycle ride, it feels so peaceful and away from the busy stress of life, to sit here with my IPod and meditate with Enya on is pure magic.

You went out for a drink and chatted. Close enough for rock and roll! I guess you'll have to see whether it leads to more. If not, I'm sure she's not the only person who will be attracted to you.

I like the way you captured your shadow in the beam of sunlight. Turtles like to sun themselves on the banks of the pond in back of my place too, but they are not as tame as yours. When you approach them, they dive into the water. I did come across one laying her eggs in a hole she had dug, up at the edge of the woods one day. She was on a mission and nothing was going to stop her. I left her alone so she could get on with it.
