I had a lovely day in London, the weather was not very promising in the morning with heavy rain showers, but it turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year, so my gamble of flip-flops and long cotton dress paid off or the train journey home and about on the London underground would have been unbearable.
As usual I was relaxed on the train journey with my faithful IPod and 5,000 tunes, how times have changed from the 80s with a walkman turning over cassettes, or portable CD players with jumping CDs and never being sure what CDs to take with you, I used to take about 5 with me and always wished I had taken that extra Roxy Music CD.
With my spiritual belief being of a pagan/Wiccan nature, I am a believer in Astrology and have also seen Julia (The Astrology reader) before, this was about 14 years ago, but she is very good and also is a safe practitioner.
The main questions on my mind were my career path as it is going through a big change, my future surgery and health.
She quickly got to matters of my health last year and how very near death I was, the big changes coming up in my career now and particularly with a change and me being very much in the public eye, writing my own material and getting good opportunities s to shine.
As things unravelled I did give her some more outlines and the feeling is that I am in a good position to do more training and I am a good speaker with an ability to hold an audience.
And also to write more, I could be published and I should not waste my life experiences as it could help people of all walks of life and different labels society gives us.
To be honest I don’t know how things will pan out, so why settle for a 9-5 job of drudgeness? Why not shoot for the stars? I have nothing to lose.
A payout is seen for me, possibly September looking an interesting time.
I want to do more public speaking and she said I was the most positive trans-woman she had meet and I could be a good spokes person,
Surgery well, between Jan-March of next year and it will defiantly happen!
A nice surprise was being asked about relationships, I said there was a possible date for tomorrow, but not at a stage to call it a relationship yet, but the feeling is that this could be the start of something nice.
Julia was very spot on about some very personal issues around me and also she has asked me to come up in 2 weeks time as she is going to draw up a natal birth chart for 22 September 2006 when I legally changed my name to Lucy for no charge, so that will be interesting.
I am going to start writing, not so much an autobiography, as it would not be that interesting, but a story of a journey from darkness to light, of shining a light into your inner child and fulfilling your potential.
I would like to aim some stuff at helping Trans people and I think also with help in transition, I was told that my Virgo was very much behind this as I am fussy and have an eye for detail.
So there you go dear reader.....
Shopping and a Karen Millen Shop
If anyone has meet me they will know I love shopping, I would say if it was a Olympic sport I would be in the running for a gold medal, at least I would do better than the football team and could even turn out for the Davies cup team at tennis
As I emerged from Convent garden tube station saw the Karen Millen shop, and even better the magical words SALE – up to 70%, Karen Millen is one of my favourite designers, I love the cut and style of her clothes, but style does not normally come cheap, anywhere between £150-£200
So I had to pop in and look at bargains where available, well after a shop around I saw a beautiful metallic dress, and I took a size 10 and a size 12 as her clothes are well fitted and I can hover between these sizes.
Both did fit, I went for the size 12, as I can future boob growth, and it still showed my boobs and slim waist.
I had been reduced from £199 to £49! So yes I bought it.
I looked around Covent Garden market and did buy a lapis stone ring and matching earrings; I had wanted a lapis stone ring to go with my Amber rings I bought in France.
I had time for lunch before my Astrology appointment and treated myself to lunch in a cafe that only served organic food, it was not cheap but also not too expensive and also I thought it is good to treat yourself.
I had a salmon salad that also had olives, new potatoes and green beans, with homemade organic bread, with organic fruit flavoured iced tea and it was really delicious.
After my reading I went to the forbidden planet, (a haven for geeks and geekettes!) I did not buy anything; I saw a few future bargains.
So overall a nice and relaxing day and I also exchanged a lot of text messages with Tracey.

I am looking forward to seeing it when you come up.

I'll skip on astrology (this Wiccan does not go for it), but I love shopping! Sounds like you found yourself a great deal. I do love especially when nicer shops put things on sale.
Lunch sounds yummy too.
Really big girls are now foaming at the mouth with undisguised envy that you can even get the chance of such bargains, something we dare not even dream of!
Sounds like a day to remember.

Happy to hear you had such a nice day. I'd love t see a picture of your new dress!
I liked the pictures too. Now I've heard of "Jesus Christ on a pogo stick", but never "Buddha on a bicycle"! ;-)
