First of all a big thank you to the kind messages left after my last blog.
Also a thank you to Lisa who kindly phoned me last night and we had a nice chat; hopefully she may pay me a visit next week.
As I thought my chemo treatment did not go ahead today and they want me to see my consultant. I am due to see him next week and a PM appointment has been set for chemotherapy on the same day.
I am still feeling tired and a bit woozy, so it looks like it was not the muscles I ate on Friday J (Caroline I want to eat more when we are in France)
Dennis Wheatley and “The Roger Brook” books.
I am going to rest for the rest of this week and weekend.
When I was 16 (so long ago)! I read a wonderful series of books written by Dennis Wheatley about Roger Brook, they take his life from 1783 to 1821 and how from a 16 runaway he becomes a spy for William Pitt the younger and takes in The French revolution, Napoleon and Catherine the great from Russia.
So lots of late night reading for me!
Also I am looking into my options re work.
Blessed be everyone
xx

Sometimes our bodies just want a bit of rest...I know mine craves it when I get "behind" on my sleep or I'm injured!
My favorite re-read from youth is "Wuthering Heights"; I had always thought I'd see those moors by this point in my life. Still dreaming of it...
Lovely photos! So nice to see you smiling!

I am looking forward to meeting you next week.

Chemo is a vile thing to go through, how you manage to do it by yourself is amazing.
I have seen friends reduced to nothing by it only to have lost that trendy thinness after a short while eating all the food none of the rest of us can even look at.
Lisa is bringing an extra hug. Take care.

thank you everyone
Alan Wuthering heights is on my list of books to re-read and I got to rewatch the film.
Caroline I never feel alone when I get messages of support here and of course I got smudge and my sister!
I will look forward to the extra hug when Lisa gets here
